Depending on what mounting method, display or case you use. It may be required to rotate the display 180*. This can easily be accomplished.
First open terminal and enter the following code.
sudo nano /boot/config.txt
Put “lcd_rotate=2” in /boot/config.txt and the screen will rotate 180* upon reboot.
By default the display will go black usually after 10 minutes (varies by distribution). To prevent it open terminal and enter the code below, then reboot.
sudo nano /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf
In that file, look for:
and insert this line:
xserver-command=X -s 0 dpms
If you are not planning on using Bluetooth, you can disable it with the following code to decrease boot time slightly.
Disable BT by adding the line
Optionally you might also disable the following service
sudo systemctl disable hciuart
